Prothonotary Warbler, Protonotaria citrea

This is the only North American warbler that nests in cavities; and

like most cavity nesters, P. citrea readily takes to nest boxes like

this one on a James River, VA tributary. Four hungry mouths await

a mayfly and grub feast.
